Forget all the 303 and C4 or Black Wow trim stuff because I have found the best trim treatment of all.
I found out about it from a jeep forum. I treated my car and a few others at the Dragon this year and after several car washes and crazy weather they still look brand new and it does not wash off.
For only $15.00 bucks you can go to Home Depot or Lowes or buy it on Amazon and have enough for 15 MINI's or more.
Instruction are clean your trim with lacquer thinner or Acetone.
Use a MF rag and wipe on a decent layer of Penetrol and let it dry and toss away your MF rag.
That's it, nothing more, your welcome.

Well, the secret is out so I guess now it's just called Dave's Sauce...
Can't wait to try this. And judging by the perfection of Dave's outstanding Chilli Red R53 it obviously works great. Thanks Dave!-

You know that product called Black WOW, I wanted to call mine "Damn!" because that what you say when it does not attract dirt, dust or leave any slim or sling after it dries and lasts for months. It even repels water.
It looks like "Dave secret sauce" is the name that has stuck.
Enjoy-

Thanks for the info on this stuff. I'm gonna head to Lowes and see if they've got it. I read that it isn't available in CA (no surprise) so maybe Amazon will be the way to go here...

Are you talking about the rubber/plastic?
If so you really need to try out the 303 Protectant. Been using it for years and love it. Very long lasting and very little graying. -
I'm talking about the vinyl trim around the fenders, bumpers and runners. The C4 works best on hard plastic and not vinyl like where the wiper blades are located, works best on that type of plastic. I actually have 303 Protectant and it's not quite as dramatic as C4 was while it lasted. I did some research here and found out that C4 doesn't hold up well against rain, it will last in the summer but the second it rains it washes off quickly!
When I get some more cash saved up I might just replace the fender wells, this way it makes my job smaller and easier. Dealer told me they could give me a deal buying all four fender wells at $75 each, I've spent $130 on two bottles of C4 Trim Restorer. -

Missed that.........
Still like my 303, lasts all summer w/o having to wipe it down with the stinky stuff. -
Now I'm backtracking a little. Considering the source, I've no doubt it works well & does a beautiful job. But I went to Lowe's yesterday and both Penetrol and lacquer thinner are plastered with too many warnings - toxic fumes, chemical gloves, etc - for my comfort level. YHOMV.
