While that doesn't sound good. I am one of those people that will eat almost anything in the name of science.

I don't boil mine in salted water in order to keep sodium intake levels low. They are well spiced with garlic and chiles, the salt is not missed.

Had a cookout at my place today. (25th) Just a get together we have every October. Perfect weather for a cookout.
Menu: Italian sausage steamed in beer and finished on the grill with peppers and onions. Spicy grilled chicken, italian green beans with new potatoes, BBQ beans, Brunswick stew, and an assortment of cupcakes, cakes, and cookies. A fun day, but now I get to look forward to cleaning up tomorrow.

A wonderful dinner out tonight with my Bride, at one if our town's finest dining establishments... Fresh Water Prawns for an appetizer, Spaghetti and Meat Balls for me, and their signature Halibut for her. We both enjoyed a bottle of 2012 Tolosa Pinot Noir and closed out the meal with a fresh Peach Cobbler...

It's darn simple, only a 2.5 page PDF.
I looked into this with the jams I make. The deciding factor was one Saturday morning at the Farmers Market it was sleeting. I was miserable. I could leave and I did. If I was selling I'd be cold, miserable and snippy probably. Please consider any jams I may give to you as a gift. If you feel you want to contribute to the jam fund your contribution is appreciated, and not at all required.
I also give them in addition to tips to people like my hair colorist, favorite barista, and others.
It's fun.-

I am absolutely in love lately with a little Thai Market !!! This stir fry consists of a double dose of Green Curry, Thai Eggplant and Black Tiger Shrimp. The bread balls filled with Mung bean never made it to the house for dinner. Ate it on the ride home in my soon to be classic MINI[emoji85]

Missed taking a picture, made an awesome dinner though
Roasted a lamb shoulder in a dutch oven. The meat was coated with a za'atar blend then perched on a bed of rough diced peeled tomatoes, onions and red bell peppers. After the roast was cooked the veggies were strained, the fat floated off and that liquid used to cook couscous.
When the couscous was almost complete spinach was added. Then served with some toasted pine nuts, feta, green onion and parsley. A bit of fresh lemon juice and a splash of a peppery olive oil brightened things up.
My friend went home very happy with a little care package of leftovers to enjoy for tomorrow's lunch.-
