Rice cakes wrapped in bacon with melted pepper jack cheese isn't bad.

 

They're even better if someone else scrapes them off the rock...and serves them to you

 

Had Bibimbap for the first time. It was very good.

(Or, more correctly, it's good if you like it.)

Ceviche!!! at a neighborhood restaurant with an order of pan fried jalapenos on the side. Bueno!

 

Sauerkraut is an excellent side dish, I have a huge jar of it!!!

 

Hope you're feeling better! We are sauteing portobellos and sweet onions to top Rib Eyes. When you're feeling better....eat steak!!!:drool

No catfish & sadly no mud bugs. Just a pile of shrimp swimin in a rue with veggies & rice. It was still very tasty even though it was missing a few things.

I'm getting hungry time for a big bowl.

 

To counter this latest insurgence of evil polar vortex I made up a big pot of chili yesterday. Will have it today. Chili is one of those foods I think is better after spending at least one "night in the box." (Yeah, I just Cool Hand Luke'd y'all.)

 

Just finished a steak sandwich, Thai style. Good, but now the whole house smells like fish sauce. :blush2:

Omelette with spinach, bacon, feta. Topped with jalapeño slices,sour cream and shaved Parmesan, never too much cheese.,,,:biggrin5:

 

In yet another sign that spring is really here the local produce market had ramps yesterday. Made up a quick pasta dish last night with ramps, garlic, parsley, chili flakes and little olive oil.

Fiddleheads can't be far behind.....

Ahhh Spring time
