Anyone tried Machaca - eggs, shredded beef, jalapenos kinda like a scramble.

Chorizo con huevos I like but it does not like me.

Urban garden grown heirloom tomato and radish sprouts on bacon bread.

 

Papaya salad, Lemongrass Chicken, sticky rice and several Thai dishes I have no idea how to spell

Large pie with double pepperoni, extra cheese, shrooms, and onions. From a little local eatery called Do-Minos. :biggrin5:

 

Variations on a theme. Pea Shoots, heirloom Tomato, fresh mozzarella, pickled blueberries on a bacon bread. All local too.

 

Beer... Its been one of those weeks.

 

Made this today. Got 5 lbs of mixed hot peppers from the farmers market for a buck. Sliced em all up. Put them in jars with a vinegar based simple syrup

Candied Hell is what they become.

 

Gonna relax before another work week starts with one of my favorites (I was able to restock yesterday during the Brewery Tour)

Fixed myself a big plate of chili cheese tater tots with lots of sweet pickled jalapeños.

Today, in anticipation of entertaining (friends with 3 kiddos for annual pumpkin carving) a run to the Old Town community garden for pumpkins! Best part of that is, 100% of the proceeds go to the Arvada Food Bank. After carving a dozen or so, we roasted the seeds (make sure to boil in saltwater for 10 minutes, pat dry, toss in olive oil, then 400 degrees until desired doneness)....delicious! But while waiting for that to come out, flip on the fire pit and make smores!!!!!! This week will include EPIC foodie lover's fun. We are on vacation.:drool:donut1::wink::beer
