That place has incredible smoked meats. Picked up some double smoked bacon today. It's darn good stuff.

I just clicked on this as my wife,Olga, walked up behind me. She said, "What's that!?"
I said, "It says Chickin and Waffle."
She said, "Oh that's just AWFUL!, Who would put chicken on a waffle with powdered sugar!? YUCK!"
She has very particular ideas about what food goes with what and I guess that chicken and waffles isn't it.

Mr. Jim MudsharkLifetime SupporterThey are great! I got one last year and then I got about 5 more different sizes from my fathers house. Love them, you get a good workout cooking with them!

We have several, I seasoned our favorite (10" inch) over a camp fire during a camp out in 1976. The best ever even heat, great for corn bread too.
-
We have a cast iron skillet and it is dedicated to making paella. Yum. :drool

I still have the iron skillets my mother used when I was a kid
It all I use. The little 6" is the best. Throw a sprinkle of flour in the pan to fry eggs. It helps when the pan isn't seasoned well -

I bought some Nutella, 'cause I'd heard good things about it. The jar is still in my fridge with one scoop out of it, it is too sweet for my tastes.:frown5:

First tried that stuff in Europe, when stationed there in '74 and that is the only place you could get it. Now it and many other things, are being imported here, but it is NOT the same. The FDA makes them change it before they will let it in the country.

Finished up a steak burrito with hatch sauce and way too many chips and salsa from Chuy's. Need a nap.
