Making up a big ole batch of Chicken Veggie Soup. House smells awesome, plus it's warm and slightly humid on this cold winters day.

Sooo jealous...I've really been craving Indian food lately. It's not my husband's thing...sigh...

Put the rotisserie kit on the kettle and roasted a chicken today. The bird was brined for 8 hours, and stuffed with lemon chunks, fresh rosemary and fresh thyme.

I guess I am the only one cooking, lately.:confused5:
It got cold and rainy today, so yesterday, I made some chicken broth out of the carcass from the weekend's rotisserie chicken, and today, made some chicken noodle soup. The chicken is the breast meat from the rotisserie chicken.

It really hit the spot!
BTW, I just happen to have a photo studio in the room next to my kitchen, and everything I need for food photos is handy, so it only takes a few minutes to set up and shoot my food. So, it's kind of a "why not" situation on the occasions that I do it. I also have parsley growing in the backyard, so why not garnish, too.

Well, mine is certainly not healthier than Nathan's.
I smoked up some baby-backs on the kettle Sunday. Two hours of smoke, then into the oven to finish cooking.
