    Gonna be doing some moroccan ras el hanout yardbird tonight, with a cumin scented fennel, gala apple slaw, & curried carrot puree

    Was a nice change, great for the summer solstice.

    It's been a whole lot of fresh fruits and veggies here. I've probably eaten my weight in strawberries, but the season for the really good summer fruits is fading. I've lost another 20 pounds, and I'm pretty much at my ideal weight.

    I smoked a meatloaf last week, and it was excellent -- but I didn't take pictures.

    Otherwise, nothing special to report.

    Just finished a half dozen huge bacon wrapped queso stuffed jalapeños. Things were so big that I didn't even start my beef and chorezo burrito. That'll be dinner tomorrow. Jalapeños went so fast that by the time I thought of taking a picture it was too late.

    Couple of Filet Mignon Burgers (Omaha Steaks) with sharp cheddar and grilled slices of purple onion.
    Had to use my handy dandy Red Copper stove top grill because it has been raining all day. The thing actually does a nice job.
