I have never had Wagyu beef before. I know exactly how I would prepare it and cook it. I have gone through that process in my head many times. I just need to bite the bullet, and buy the meat, and DO IT!

Happy Easter. I decided to whip up a simple dinner of Lobster Thermidor a Crevette, with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top... and spam.

My doctor told me I was pre-diabetic. Had to give up my low carb eating plan. I found a quick answer when one has to change an eating habit quickly. Nutrisystem for men. It is a surprising plan. I eat 5 or 6 times a day. The food is surprisingly edible (notice I didn't say good ), there is a controlled portion size that is adequate (after a small amount of time), and it is portable. The first week I lost like 3 lbs and am probably up to 5 lb, But I will admit I had some slips along the way... If your health dictates an eating plan change, Nutrisystem is a good alternative.

    To illustrate my point...

When my wife was diagnosed with diabetes years ago, her A1c was over 15, when the normal range is <6. She has been on Nutrisystem for years and her A1c is now <6--Normal
    ps we both exercise regularly....

Chicken and broccoli do not belong on a pizza.

I'd hit that pizza. Now, ham and pineapple does not belong on a pizza.

You are right, Sully. Dining in England has gotten a lot better over the years.

Have you found a good fish and chips shop? Yeah, it is cliche, but I always have to have it once when I am there.

Lol - I know (Fish and Chips). I didn’t fthis time.. I was craving Italian.. as you can see for both dinners. Was down in the financial district.

I also learned last time I was here, Indian & Lebanese food here is also really good. But again.. was craving carbs I guess.. with the Italian food.

Next time I’ll get back in the fish and chips. Which appears I’ll have that opportunity again soon.

It seems like Indian is the official food style of England -- the Brits seem to love them some Curry. Not a favorite of mine.

I have never eaten poutine. I want to try it, but cheese curds are something I would have to make from scratch, because I can't buy them. That's a lot of work for one dish that I may, or may not like.

Do you have a local farmer’s market you could get the curds from? That’s our source. The fries gotta be crispy too, double fried. And use your best gravy.

I always double-fry my fries. I'm thinking this is a dish you need to assemble, and eat right away. Otherwise, the fries are going to go soggy.
