Nice, I had tuna-melt sammies baked in the oven on hamburger buns. Had ribs on Sunday, we had to cut back to get back on track. Don
Just a snack for dinner instead of a big meal.... Avocados, salt and pepper and Sriracha sauce... Crackers with brie and pate... Later on fresh strawberries and whipped cream...
Metalman, we do the same thing all the time...snacks at night...tonight salami, hard boiled eggs, crackers with tzatziki sauce, carrots, celery.
So, isn't picking a Cheesesteak place in Philly like picking a BBQ place in Memphis, a Chili place in Cincinnati or a Pizza place in Chicago: No matter what you say, "Them's Fighting Words!"
Real Philly cheesesteaks do not come from tourist traps like Geno's, Pat's, or Jim's steaks. Also any cheesesteak or Hoagie the comes on an A'maroso roll is garbage
Fresh thinly slicked top grade steak, slightly frozen when it goes on a flattop grill. Real cheese, like Provolone or Cooper, not cheese wiz You can also add fried or raw onions, fried mushrooms, and peppers. The most important thing is the ROLL! Everybody has tried to duplicate it but nothing beats a fresh soft long roll made fresh daily with our special northeast water.
I made some last night, just as you described, except they were local fresh made rolls, made with special northwest water. They were real good! Thanks!
That dreck they sell in Cincinnati is not chili, its a damned abomination to mankind I tell you! A way to usher in the end of days! Anyway, its bad and gross. Don't eat it.
