My wife went and spent the day with her mom..... I told her to be home no later than 5:00 because I was cooking something special.... After fixing the AC condensate drain, I started in the kitchen. I made a bunch of Swedish meatballs, accompanied with mashed potatoes & gravy and lingonberry sauce.... Very tasty.... The wife liked it....
Buffalo wings tonight! I cook the wings first with seasoning salt. Then I mix up 1/3 sweet chili sauce, 1/3 chili garlic sauce, and 1/3 Frank's Hot Sauce. After the wing are cooked, I dip them in the sauce mixture and cook 'til they're sticky. Yum!
They have gotten even bigger. I probably have about 70 of them on the plants of various size and not a single one is starting to ripen. I am becoming frightened of them, but I feel compelled to eat them since I grew them.
Ventured out to Rosa Linda's this morning for Chile Verde on Eggs. It might not look like much, but oh my God. Yumm!
Having both of my parents over for dinner today.... My wife wants me to repeat my Swedish meatball meal.... She musta liked em... Mom's Danish... So she will probably like em too...
Just finished a breast qtr. of fried HOT chicken, fried okra & spicy slaw. It burned in a good way. (Let's hope only once!)
I could enjoy this too. Looks good, I might have to suggest this to OSF down the road. Anything else in there, eggs, Green Chili with some good pork chunks? Nice... Don
Nothing like authentic Mexican food here in our little cowboy town..... My wife wants to take our friends and go back for more tomorrow after church. She had this.... I don't even remember what they call it. A Mexican scramble of some sort.
Elk Chili with chopped onions and shredded cheese on top. Tortilla chips to scoop it up. Sorry no pic, just ate it too fast
