Made this today. Got 5 lbs of mixed hot peppers from the farmers market for a buck. Sliced em all up. Put them in jars with a vinegar based simple syrup Candied Hell is what they become.

Well, the first of my ghost peppers finally ripened yesterday. I ate half of one out of sheer curiosity. GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY THOSE THINGS ARE HOT!!!!! I mean we are talking the fires of hades here. They had a lovely taste, I believe Ralph Wiggum from the Simpsons said it best, "It tastes like burning." On that not I cant wait to make hot sauce out of the rest!!!!
