    Ohio Cottage Food Regulations.

    http://www.agri.ohio.gov/foodsafety/docs/cottage_Food_Rules_final6-09.pdf

It's darn simple, only a 2.5 page PDF.

I looked into this with the jams I make. The deciding factor was one Saturday morning at the Farmers Market it was sleeting. I was miserable. I could leave and I did. If I was selling I'd be cold, miserable and snippy probably. Please consider any jams I may give to you as a gift. If you feel you want to contribute to the jam fund your contribution is appreciated, and not at all required.

I also give them in addition to tips to people like my hair colorist, favorite barista, and others.

    It's fun.

Just a thought. Not particularly time consuming, however the raw materials can be the problem. While my garden produced a good bit of peppers, and some others provided by friends, it was nowhere enough to even remotely sustain making it. I probably have about 40-50 of the ghosts left, all nice and frozen in the freezer just waiting to get used up.

It's very good. Yes, it is quite thick, the yogurt besides adding flavor helps to thin it some.

Curry is the Hot Blend from North Market Spices here in Columbus. I'm working on their site.

I made the best gumbo I have ever made this past weekend. I cooked it with my best friend's wife for their family down in Port Arthur -- cajun country. I was nervous as chit since her mom, a serious coonass cook was coming to dinner.

    She liked it!!!

I am an Italian from Philly who loves cajun food. I work hard to make it right. I even cure and smoke my own Tasso, because I can't buy it anywhere. It was nice to see real cajuns go for seconds of my gumbo -- leftover turkey and smoked sausage for the meats.

BTW, my best friend drove my MINI CopperS -- his first MINI experience -- and was giddy. He loved it.

    Good minds, Nathan!

We had a nice beefy barley soup last night too. It was needed here in cold Colorado.

Tonight was homemade Chicken Enchiladas, I know pictures would help but I forget when I am eating fast!

Now, Italian Cajun, that I don't know about, tell us more! :) :) Pictures?

    :)

I am absolutely in love lately with a little Thai Market !!! This stir fry consists of a double dose of Green Curry, Thai Eggplant and Black Tiger Shrimp. The bread balls filled with Mung bean never made it to the house for dinner. Ate it on the ride home in my soon to be classic MINI

A week or so ago a friend brought me some fruit while I was laid up. In that box was a lot of bananas. Like 28 of them.

Been experimenting with some Banana bread. This one has black walnuts, 63% coco chocolate chips and a Chai Habanero spice mix.

The folks at the coffee shop give it a big thumbs up.

Been working on some recipe development for a client. He tasted my first batch. Gave me some feedback and commissioned me to keep working on the details.

Fresh batch of my latest creation. Chai habanero spiced banana bread with toasted black walnuts and extra dark chocolate.
