    Mmm, protein.

Well after four of us enjoyed personal pizzas and a few 805s, we followed up with this nicely done dessert pizza. Smores, brownies, fresh strawberries and strawberry sauce, all over a cinnamon sugar and butter coated crust. Yummy!!

Got 2 racks of baby back ribs marinating in the refrigerator.... Going into the oven at 3:00 today for some slow, "fall off the bone", cooking.

    Ribs, nacho's, beer and football...:D

Cooking a lamb roast today for dinner.

Not a football fan, so I'll skip the big game this year, as usual.

Yeah the self contained tomato farm went in the trash. I wanted to plant it, but the roommates didnt want tomato plants growing in the house.

We are enjoying a tasty beef chili. Also a smooth/spicy cheese dip as part of the Super Bowl snack day. Nice brews to round out the yum. Good day!

Nothing but rabbit food for awhile. Just returned home from a 2 week Caribbean cruise and am stretching out the waistbands on my pants. Ate too much good food, drank too many adult beverages and in total, had almost enough fun. (Like the song says, you can never have too much fun!)

Makin a big pot of "Porubsky's Grocery Store Chili - Kansas"...

    For those interested....
    Porubsky's Grocery - Topeka, KS

    Made the pickles too....:drool

I modded the the recipe.... Went with 2 pounds of ground chuck and 1 pound of Bob Evans regular pork sausage... It's not the first time I've made this chili... But I gotta say, this batch was the best...:D

Tried to make "Korean" wraps with cabbage and ground turkey rather than lettuce. Wasn't so great. We'll throw the rest of the turkey in with ravioli later.

Trying something new today. Jamaican oxtail stew, with a side of Jamaican rice and peas.

I've made the rice and peas a few times before. The oxtails are new to me. They are braising low and slow in a cast-iron pot right now.
