Well, mine is certainly not healthier than Nathan's. I smoked up some baby-backs on the kettle Sunday. Two hours of smoke, then into the oven to finish cooking. CD
^^^ Well.... you can't enjoy it when you are dead... Might as well enjoy it while you are alive... Looks good...
Made a loaf of cheddar cheese bread that came out pretty well! Used a combo of shredded and cubed cheddar so that I'd get some cheese that melted into the bread, and some pockets of gooeyness too. Served it to my family with some Asian-marinated beef and a salad with homemade poppyseed dressing. The hubs seemed happy.
Taking my better half out to eat dinner at an old italian Restaurant... I'm sooooooo hungry for italian right now.... :drool
A surprisingly good sandwich from the deli in my office building.... Turkey w/ hot sauce and blue cheese with a scoop of cole slaw in a wrap and grilled on a panini press.
Pickled Ramps are on the menu! Made these for a client. Recipe can be found at http://www.northmarketspices.com/blog/spring-time-pickled-ramps-2/ Made kimchi with the tops, still fermenting, recipe to published next week after validation that it tastes good.
A restaurant rep gave me a one pound can of jumbo lump crab meat. I want to make some kind of mixture for lettuce wraps this weekend. Wish me luck. I don't want to mess it up, because I can't afford to buy this level of crab meat. CD
It's "Date Night".... I'm gonna take my wife out to dinner... We did a lot of the interior metal work at the Crest Gastropub on Parson's ave... I always like to hold off going to a new restaurant until they get their act together and the crowds at a new place settle down a little... http://thecrestgastropub.com/parsons/ :drool
