That is correct, they do not get your actual email. However when someone starts a conversation, it will email you. You can turn this off if you like in your profile settings. However that would apply to all conversations... so I don't suggest that. Instead, I would choose to leave the conversation.
Regarding deleting them, there are two ways.
1) Before you open the actual conversation you can click on the little box next to the avatar of the person who sent it to you.
2) Then a pop up will come up with multiple options. At that point you can choose to "leave" the Conversation. (Note you can click on multiple.. if you have multiple to delete). See image below:
Option 2
When you are in the conversation, above the conversation window there are some options. One is to leave the conversation, click on that and a pop up will come up with options. See the image below.
There is another way to report spammers - I think you will have rights to do it.
1) You click on the avatar and it will pop up with their stats.
2) At that point, you can choose spam.. and it will report the user to us.
I think you will have rights to do that last one, but I'm not sure. I will have to check.
Please let us know if you continue to get spam. The number of spammers who are trying to login has increased dramatically. In one day we had over 200 spammers try to register. I've made some changes to try and block/reduce it. However, it appears some are still getting through. I could change the settings to make new members post in the New Member forum, or have a delay before starting conversations. If this continues, I may need to make that change.
Let us know if you have any questions and if you continue to get spam.
Thanks,
Josh
