Sorry, I'm not familiar with the no. 3 problem. What is it? :confused5:

It looks like oil got on the base of the plug. I've been having that same issue, but it was puddling on top of the plug. Replaced the spark plug tube seals and it went away.

Is number 3 the 3rd from the passenger side? I am having trouble pulling off the wire from that one. (What's this problem you are hinting at and is it related to this difficulty I'm encountering?) :confused5: :frown5:

#3 is prone to corosion. What did you replace to resolve the issue Nathan? I think I read you ran both Brisk and NGK and preferred NGK, is this correct?
I believe #3 is from the passenger side.

Here are mine. Number 3 (from the passenger side) seems to be just like the others, so I guess mine was OK. Do all look "normal" after 65,000 miles? (These are the oem ones.) (Sorry for all the questions---I'm a spark plug noob :blush2

On my Justacoop Brisks got fouled up somehow. The way Danny at Minicorsa explained it, the Brisks are a sensitive to less then ideal conditions which happen a lot in everyday driving. In my case it was trowing engine codes and the car ran like crap. Replaced it with NKG and all is good now.

Looks good!! I use Autolite Plugs!! they rock!! NO issues with running water/meth, or some NOS, or just running the mess out of the car!! I have installed the Autolites in other cars and they work great also.. ( one has 80K on them and we are going to replace befor the dragon)
In todays EFI systems.. if the plug fails it is usually NOT the issue on the plug, but the EFI/Rings/Emmissions... ect!! ( High mileage will necessitate any brand plug change) I have to chuckle when a guy buys a 10-$20.00 spark plug, when the $5.00 Autolite is just as good!! but hey..

Now I wonder how much better all those Dyno charts would be if more changed their SC belt and spark plugs before the run?
Both of these are cheap and easy to change with a instant and noticeable difference!
AutoLite/Fram/Bendix was one of my sponsors when I was racing. All the plugs I wanted! -
LOL yep.. It is amazing how some have a dyno run, and go with tired plugs and belts..LOL and then wonder why they are pulling lower numbers, or the chart is bouncing all over!! good point Lynn.
