Maybe something to compete against WRX and EVOs. However, I suspect MINI would sale the cars for much more than a WRX or EVO.

Now THIS would make me consider a trade in on my 2005 MCS.

 

The added sales they would get with something like this... Granted the package would be a little larger than the EVO or STi, but who said a family sports car was a bad thing? I'd buy it... if it was done right.

 

I'm guessing it would be a pain to have to dress the kids up in racing suits, helmets and strapping them into the Racro child seats, complete with three point harness, just for a trip to the store. :lol:

Man, I really hope they build a 300hp, widebody version for the street. That would be an awesome "family car".

 

Well, that would soften the blow from BMW not selling me a 1M, lol.
