It might be better to remove it and fill in the indent with a thicker coat of red. But orient it level so the paint stays in the recessed area until dry. I'm wondering if a red epoxy paint would be a good candidate? Strange how the black letters remain pristine. Is the first o in Cooper showing some damage also?
New OEM emblems are EXPENSIVE.....

N2MINI MINI of the Month
Try laying some red vinyl into the indention and trim off excess, for the 2 horizontal lines, can't really do this for the red letters.
My vinyled headlight rings have held up much better than my friends painted ones.. -
