It might be better to remove it and fill in the indent with a thicker coat of red. But orient it level so the paint stays in the recessed area until dry. I'm wondering if a red epoxy paint would be a good candidate? Strange how the black letters remain pristine. Is the first o in Cooper showing some damage also?
New OEM emblems are EXPENSIVE.....

 

I haven't had to re-paint my justa emblem ever. You other folks are just jealous and can't admit it. Trying to blame your problems on a justa is very sad. :frown2::frown2:

The best a Justa can do is draft behind an S or JCW so the MINI in the front is doing all the work, including clearing the bugs. No wonder their emblems have to work so hard

Try laying some red vinyl into the indention and trim off excess, for the 2 horizontal lines, can't really do this for the red letters.
My vinyled headlight rings have held up much better than my friends painted ones..

 

What I want to know is: how did Jim even GET IN this section????

But that is exactly what I am NOT doing. I bought my justa by choice and I love it. Just remember which came first, the "justa" then the "S", both times.
