Nice!
The guy had a period modification scheme. Modified with period parts options so, though not original, like a car modified in the time frame of its manufacture.

Beautiful car but if he straddled the double yellow like he did at the dragon
that car would need another restoration.-

Thanks for that. Was the Coors series the same as the SCCA truck series from the 80's?
I was running in a regional SCCA race the week before the race trucks were scheduled to have a big race at Mid-Ohio. A bunch of those trucks entered the regional race to get some extra track time in. Oh my God! They were like sharks swimming with the guppy's. I couldn't believe how fast those thing went. There were some great driver's in that series.-

For Ferrari lovers, the iconic 250 GTO.
They were built to race in Europe and won most races they entered. Only 32 were built by Ferrari and when the FIA changed regulations to give other manufacturers a chance, most were bought up by enthusiasts and some became very rare street sports cars and occasional racers.
My guess is if you see one in the flesh the odds are it's a replica, like this one.
...or this hand-made museum specimen.
The GTOs in these videos, however, are originals. Warning, the vids are clips from a somewhat dry personal documentary by a guy who owned one in his youth, but the cars are great and there's good info among the reminiscing.

URBAN OUTLAW is a portrait of Magnus Walker, the rebel Porsche customizer who turned a hobby into an obsession, and an obsession into a successful business. From a workshop in downtown Los Angeles, Magnus obsessively harvests fragments from donor 911s, grafting them onto vintage frames to create one-off automobiles with the spirit of Ferdinand Porsche but an ethos entirely his own.

Even if you're not a big Ferrari fan you'll find something to drool over in this video. If you're a real Ferrari lover you might need a bib...or maybe a tarp.

I have some friends who were at the Monaco historics this year, if anyone would like to see their footage of the drive to Monaco thru the mountains from Annecy France and thier event coverage, let me know and I'll put up some links.
this video is from last years "Southwest Oil Leak tour", a bunch of friends of mine take their Jags on a 3 or 4 state tour every year, for me the fun part is to see people using their cars for what they were intended, rain or shine, smooth roads or not! Yes, those are gravel roads they're driving....why, because it was a cool road!
This year's tour will be of the Pacific Northwest.....
