    When I got my driver's license all I wanted was a TR6. I didn't get near one of course, I think there was probably a grand total of one TR6 at the time in my home town. I rarely caught a glimpse of it but lusted after it.

    Can't find really good videos, these will have to do.

    I can remember being about 10 and going with my dad to the Lincoln dealer to look at a Continental for him. There was a red Pantera on the showroom floor. Try as I may I could not convince him to give up the idea of the massive 4 sedan for the lithe 2 seat sports car.

    Datsun 240Z, one of my favorites. Apparently sold in Japan as the Fairlady Z.

    I wonder whether all the hints dropped in the last video (the one w/ Jay Leno) mean they're really going to make and sell an anniversary replica.....

    When I was a pup there was a local guy that used to run a TVR Griffith in gymkhanas, long before they changed the name to auto x. Loved that thing, a real monster. All other TVR's just didn't measure up in my eyes.

    Those were good videos, but stopped short of TVR being bought by a Russian kid with lots of money & then going belly up. RIP TVR.
