I'm not sure what kind of race this is but there's all sorts of older cars so this is as good of a place to post as any. I do know it's Bathurst (yay!) and you ride along in what I think is some sort of a Ford (Falcon?) as it scythes through traffic. Lots of fun and a wonderful soundtrack despite the "no music" claim in the title. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toLPTjE1GZk"]Yager Performance, XY-GTHO, Race 3 "no music" - YouTube[/ame]
Man you just have to love Mt Panorama, what a place! What an eclectic selection of cars too. Everything from Austin A35, to Studabaker Larks. I'm thinking that was a Mustang because of the shaker hood, looks like the ones I've sat behind, but don't know my Ausi cars well. Could be a Falcon. What a great drive!!! x 10

Not sure where this is really fits, so mods, if you need to move it or delete it, do so. It's trucks, not sports cars. In the 80's, the SCCA had a showroom stock pickup series called the Coors Racetruck Challenge. This was on road courses, not off-road or rally, etc. I used to watch back then, but it was pretty short-lived. But---and maybe it's me---pickups just seem larger nowadays. The Coors series had some rather compact trucks, and I'm not sure there are any appropriate models anymore for such a series. Fun video to look back on, though. This is from Brainerd, MN.
I remember that series. It was a hoot to watch. At one regional race at Mid-Ohio a bunch of those truck racers showed up to do a test & setup day for their race at Mid-Ohio a week or so later. The SCCA dumped them into our IT race. Holy carp those guys used their bumpers to move anyone & everyone out of their way. Man it was not a fun race weekend for me. I survived, but just about wore out my mirrors.
Found this one in one of my various email newsletters, it was fun, fast and good sounding Ford. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G39yB-jg1v8"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G39yB-jg1v8[/ame] Hope folks can resolve the link. Don
They're right, I've never heard of Peerless. I like it! Peerless GT – Father & Son (video) (motorsportretro.com) [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzN2OIay7l4"]The First Seat - YouTube[/ame]
Very nice, as you say Petrolicious does a wonderful job with their videos. I've heard of the Peerless, but have never seen one in the wild. You just have to love those old Brit creations. Nice to see someone keeping the Peerless flame burning brightly.
Given the Peerless GT's shape, looks like there might be room for something like the Sunbeam Tiger engine treatment.

You know when I heard that thing rumbling at the beginning of the video I could have sworn it was a V8. I've never heard a tractor 3 engine sound so good.
Another volume treat. Hang in there for the onboard at about 1:19. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9J5EpcKJzI"]Spa Classic 2014 - Porsche 935 - Marc de Siebenthal - YouTube[/ame]
