Not a video, but worth a look all the same This may be in the wrong place, but take a gander at these pictures. Drool worthy for sure. http://www.sportscardigest.com/best-vintage-car-racing-photo-2016/
The Chief Dark Horse was really my first pick but at my age I couldn't handle that extra weight. Sorry to say. But I'm completely happy with the Scout 60, its completely black, I changed out the stock exhaust system for a black Vance & Hines Grenades system, now it sounds like it should and looks way better.
That was a different time. Safety wan't considered at all back then. So many great drivers learned about safety the hard way.
There's a good short article on a Bill Thomas Cheetah (w/ video) over at Road & Track: http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/videos/a32803/the-bill-thomas-cheetah-goodwood/
I always thought the Cheetah was a neat car. Looks like a car that would want to kill you if driven in true anger. Saw my first one in person a couple of years ago at the SVRA event at Mid-Ohio.
A very sad ending, but very a well done video. We all die & Jordan died doing what he loved. Not a bad way in my book. RIP Jordan.
Wow, this is fun!!! First, the broadcast view with announcers. Next, onboard from the same part of the race where you can see just how much Nick Swift loves racing Minis. Last, in case you want the rest, a whole lot more onboard from the rest of the race.
I can't decide whether the best thing about this one is Nick Swift pedaling his MINI or the fact that the folks on the camera crew clearly prefer to watch Nick Swift pedaling his MINI. It's a win-win!
