Well that's just uncool. I was sold an O2 sensor for my MINI and later found out I was sold an R53 sensor. Guess I'll be selling it and startin over.

Latest update. Currently missing in cylinder 3. HP Fuel Pump is ruled out. Plugs were changed about 10k miles ago. Not sure what the problem is but I have almost no power after about 3k RPMs. Any suggestions? Almost to the point of trading it for an all4 lol

No power past 3k eh? Have a severe boost leak (like, piping popped apart bad) or failed diverter valve?

That's a negative. My mechanic said its fuel or carbon related. Getting a carbon clean done soon as my tax refund comes back then going from there.

So after bringing it to the dealer to have the fuel pump tested I've noticed that I've got my power back, as well as the sputtering. The power is there as long as I don't push it too hard, but if I do it starts to sputter. Someone please tell me what is wrong with my MINI.

:cornut: I think that it may indeed be the 'Dreaded Carbon Problem.' When the 'tax return' comes, they can scope it and do the 'Walnut Valve Job' if indicated. Hmmmmmmmmmm......Walnut Valve Job..........sounds like a Vasectomy.:eek6::lol::lol::Thumbsup:
