This is the Florida Mini owners once a year chance to drive their baby's from point A to point B and enjoy more than 2 turns (i.e., their yearly twisty fix). Also the changes in elevation are interesting.:lol:

Question: did the Germany attentees charter a jet to transport their toys?

 

Tennessee doesn't count- they're just driving their daily commute!!!!!! :devil:

 

Over 700 folks and 464 MINIs as of yesterday!

Every year this thing seems to get bigger, where are all those folks gonna stay?

Let's see, who will win the "Drove the furthest", Alaska or Germany?

 

This is such a cool thread! I can't believe how many people and from so many places are coming out! This year's gonna kick last year's ass! :devil:

 

Unless someone else from AK pops up, it's actually my dad who's the Alaska attendee. He's flying to Orlando, and is going to rotate driving with me in the JCW and my husband in his S. They've had a lot of snow up there this year, and he sounds super psyched about getting to drive the MINI's through all the twisties!

 

Snooter, omniscient one: I am going from California. That's Elaine J Cohen. Emily Stemmerich is going from California. That's two. Might you disclose for me, please, the other four from California?

I meant "that is a LOT of Mini owners driving a long way, even if the honorable organizer is in their group (and can personally encourage their attendance). Good for you, Florida!"

 

Unfortunately, my Hover-Craft mod won't be done in time so I'll only be "driving" from the Atlanta airport

Four and a half hours is no mere commute. But when you're driving a MINI you don't seem to mind.
