Do early days with STELLAtoo remind you of the early days with Stella?

lilcoopr New MemberSteve: They totally do! The love is back... but honestly, it never left. It was sad parting with STELLA. Even though my boyfriend is buying it and trading in his MINI... so STELLA is staying in the family.
But the giddy excitement of discovering little details about your MINI? That feeling is back

lilcoopr New MemberThanks guys!! I love it and can't wait to take more pictures! Next weekend there will be more!!

Can't wait to see the mods. Congrats! I am craving a JCW as well. See you at the Dragon.

lilcoopr New MemberHe's taking the pink off!! Her name will still be STELLA but I think the feeling associated with her left when I took her plates and shiny disco antenna ball off. Especially when the pink is removed... it will feel like another Astro Black Cooper S. But she is still an amazing car. Tons of motoring left in her and it made the decision for me to upgrade a very emotional one because I was already so established with STELLA. But opportunities come at the most inopportune times and you just have to go with it!
Thanks KittyMini! It definitely will in the Spring!! I am giving myself some time to brainstorm since I have a lovely blank canvas and a billion ideas to work with

Thanks MightyStripes!! Keep your eyes on this thread... I will post my updates with her as we get closer to the Spring and a big unveiling then when the design is decided on (for now... as the MINI is a constantly evolving art piece and it will never be "completely finished"!)
Thanks Twindad! I love the JCW!! I am not a crazy driver and safely obey rules of the road including speed limits (and everyone should) but you can still feel the power and gloriousness of the JCW in a daily situation. That's what I think makes it such an amazing car. Because you know it will be awesome on the track and speeding down the highway, but it's in daily situations that you really appreciate the power that's sitting there waiting for you!
Dragon? For sure!! BUTTT probably not this year as I am driving out the the west coast of Canada (Vancouver, B.C.) as a graduation trip... 4 day or so drive out there from Toronto, Ontario. Then I wished that AMVIV was in April/May/June and not March when my exams are so I could go (so that will be next year instead). The Dragon will probably be next year too because I have the last exams of my undergrad degree (aka the hardest ones) righttt before - I don't want to be distracted with planning a trip when I should be studying!
Thank-you to everyone else who commented with the kind words about STELLAtoo!!

What a WICKED car...
and about that 2006 Cooper S named Stella:ihih:
lets just see what evolves from that iconic black and pink MINI...

lilcoopr New MemberThanks Rixter!! I will definitely PM you when it gets closer to trip time (aka when I have a date approximately set). Probably summer sometime. I would love to get more MINIs involved with this and pick some up along the way as I drive so I will work on that too

For anyone who is out of the loop... it is Sideways (aka my bf) who bought STELLA!! He is taking off the pink though
-
Awe...Don't look at it that way...
Stella is in good hands

Toronto to Vancouver in 4 days sounds kind of slow, you going to stop and sleep on the way
