I think a more graphic sticker of the baby being decapitated would be better.:lol:

I, too, found the yellow decals on the sun visors annoying and believing that they could not be removed without leaving an ugly trace of where they were, looked to find a way to cover them up. Chose a commercial application for a solution. It was low cost and quick - only a couple minutes to apply.

With the view that maybe a seatbelt warning could be helpful, I found a better worded and more readable message for the passenger side visor.

Not needing such a message for the driver's side, since I always use my seat belt, I choose a black jack for a bit of British image.

Purchased these stickers from the artist who makes the sunshades with eye expressions - Artistic Reflection.

They come in two's for $8.00. So, I do have an extra set of this mismatched pair. Giving thought to buying a second MINI - if so, the offensive yellow will be quickly dispensed.

How's this? I tried to make it more realistic, but you can only do so much with stick figures.

↑If my daughter had her way my car would be covered in those. I've already had to peel off disney princess stickers. One of the benefits of a perpetually dirty car is that at least they peel off easily.

Those look cool but my visors are black so the black vinyl cover ups blend right in.

FWIW, I removed mine years ago by soaking a folded paper towel in rubbing alcohol, flipping the visor up so the label was on "top", and laying the alcohol-impregnated folded towel on the label for hours / overnight. Label lifted right off without a trace and no elbow grease required.

One of mine was Peeling on its own, so I applied some goo-gone and it worked right off. That made me think, what about removing the other one.

So I put some goo-gone and that one and NOTHING, I did get it off.

It required light heat from a heat gun, goo-gone on a paper towel left to sit for a good amount of time, extremely light cuts with an Olaf-Knife (think Exacto).

It seems that what is really keeping the goo-gone out is the outside of the sticker, to the extremely light cuts enable the goo-gone to seep into the sticker and cause the glue to let go.

If your stickers are still in good shape I do not suggest messing with them as its a total pain to remove them.

I was able to get them off using lacquer thinner and mild rubbing. They turned out great.

I used rubbing alcohol and enough elbow grease to detail an entire MINI. There is still a faint shadow in the material where they were but they are GONE.

R53 owners can cover the stock ones with these. It's better than looking at an illustration of a baby being decapitated by the airbag.
