I have run it to 7250 so I know it can. It's just the turbo which is out of flow at those rpm...sometime in the near future I plan for a slightly bigger turbo.
This tune I have been using for nearly 3 years (2 with old engine and 1 with the new). Evolve developed it and I am really happy with it for the past 40k miles I've covered (both road and track time). It is actually a beast in track, very fun and consistent...

Now approximately how much did that all cost?

I just tell her to look at her ring finger because she had to have 3 diamonds in her engagement ring. That was before she got her diamond wedding band.

I tell her that's a MINI on your finger.

Plus I am the one that cleans and waxes her car.

When they say "You have to pay to play" it does not specify who you have to pay. Sometimes it's Helix or RMW but most times it's the wife. :p

The thing is I don't know yet if I want to just run water/meth injection to curb engine knocking after getting a tune or forget the tune and go all out on just water/meth injection to increase pressures...

A properly custom tuned car done on a dyno by a knowledgeable tuner will not leave the engine knocking when everything is in the correct working order.
Can tunes can not account for problems that are already present and can not be seen in person while the car is on a dyno doing base line pulls.

Examples of possible issues could be: Very worn tensioner (R53) old belt, old crank pulley, boost leaks, bad plugs, wires, coil, poor fuel, dirty fuel filters and air filters. etc..

100 % Meth will keep everything cool and clean. If you are tuned to run Meth all the time you will also get a small performance boost.

So the first couple of pic's of the valves was the result of after walnut blasting and 25K with meth being used?

Yes, apparently he ran Meth and still had the carbon buildup.

He ran Water Meth which is not the same. Either way why should we care?
Why not ask him about his Meth kit on the NAM?

"We?" I know you don't care, haha. I care because it's a data point more substantial than "I run water/meth and it works great!" Take from it what you will.

I liked to put my two cents in. I've only had my R56 (n14) almost 2 years. What I have done has cost me just above 5k. The best and over all is my turbo. It's a Franken turbo f21. This thing is a beast, well that and the fact I have a great tuner from Etuners. I'm running 250whp and 285ftlbs. I have a 250% bigger intercooler which I got off eBay from a dealer in China, which the helix is made and 1/3 the price. A CIA using the scoop, race cat with full DP exhaust, and full suspension from eibach. Also, I'm running 24lbs of boost with out any issues, and a gallon of e85 to every full up. I've had the is set up for 8 months and 35k miles. Hope that helps. The turbo was 1200 but I got it for half price because I was doing data for Franken turbo.
