I assume you just have some performance street tires so there are numuerous products you can get.

I myself am running powerslot rotors and Cool Carbon pads and am very happy with the performance. I have a "mini Dragon" run that I like to do regularly and have never been disappointed with the performance.

If you plan on doing any serious track days with "R" compound/Max performance summer tires then you will definitely need to select some different pads.

Thanks man for all the info. One last question on the rotors. Is it better to go with slotted or drilled? I've heard pro's and con's on both.

Slotted or plain. Not drilled for you, if you're thinking of the track--they're prone to cracking between the holes. More bling than anything else on a MINI.

I run plain at the moment, I've also run slotted, I really didn't see much difference. The slots supposedly are good for swiping pads clean, but I really haven't had a problem with that. Gas dissipation, from my limited understanding, really isn't an issue so much anymore with the new pad compounds.

Next time I will probably go with some plain Brembo rotors......the Powerslots do look good tho!

Slotted rotors are nice in the rain, there's no hesitation after you drive through a puddle, and especially if you have brake ducts. The slots are also useful for judging rotor wear.
