Kenny, If you are interested and are going to the Dragon, we will have a ton of Cup Holders that you can take a look at. Ours are injection molded and are very strong and sturdy, the holder will hold up to a 32 oz drink, and has a rubber ring inside that will keep your drink secure. The Cup Holder itself stays in place, and won't sway on you.
I like my cup holder, great for cell phone and with an insert it actually holds a drink that won't spill. You know those cheap plastic cup holders that hang off the door panel, just cut off the arm that hooks in the window channel.
The MINI cup holder is not the best design. My '02 didn't have one and I got used to reaching behind to use the one in the back. I removed it in my '06. As for iPhone holders, the CravenSpeed XXL works great for the 6 plus, even with a case. Keeps it at the same level as the tach so it's easy to see without reaching down. I find I use the Maps app quite often now.
