Anyone else getting the weird little "window" down in the right bottom asking how we like the site? Keeps popping up even after answering the question.
That is new offering from our friends at Google. As a site owner I can run that and it is limited to 500 responses per month. You can just close it and it will stay closed for some time. The beauty is I get feedback that is completely anonymous. I have no idea who left it, only some geographical and gender pointers one the data as a while, not on any one individual response. The survey is 4 questions, two are multiple choice the others are text based. The questions are: Overall, how satisfied are you with this website? What, if anything, do you find frustrating or unappealing about this website? What is your main reason for visiting this website today? Did you successfully complete your main reason for visiting this website today? So far there are 1 - 88 Replies 2 - 62 Replies 3 - 48 Replies 4 - 48 Replies Since starting on June 27 the survey has popped up 5,078 times with a response rate of 1.7% The responses to Question 1 to this point Very satisfied - 67.0% (+9.1 / -10.6) Somewhat satisfied - 17.3% (+9.8 / -6.8) Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied - 5.6% (+8.9 / -3.6) Somewhat dissatisfied - 3.4% (+9.2 / -2.6) Very dissatisfied - 6.7% (+8.5 / -3.9) It is amazing how the data can be parsed. Gender Inferred Age Geography Urban Density Income Once we get enough results to have some sort of statistical accuracy I'll put some charts and graphs on the site.
It is becoming a bit of a bother. Guess I'm easily distracted. I answered it, but yet it keeps popping up.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still learning this product. Have gone back in and tweaked some settings so that it should show less often. When it does show if the popup is ignored for 30 seconds it should go away and you'll not see it again for 10 days, in theory. I've also changed it to show to every 10th visitor instead of every visitor. If you do the survey you should not see another for at least 30 days now too. Hope this helps, but please do let me know.
:cornut: I don't mind. Filled it out 4x last night. So will that make the results show that Texas loves MA and Ohio doesn't:lol::lol: Jason
Being a Supporting Member of Motoring Alliance removes most of the advertising except for the MINI focused banners Site Sponsors have in place. White listing M/A would be appreciated.
So I can see on a regular basis what ad's show to those that are not supporting members. Want to make sure things that are inappropriate are not displayed. If they are I pop right over to Google and have that advertiser blocked. Before you think that I profit on displaying advertising to myself think again. All the advertising I see, save for that of the Site Sponsors, are wrapped in code supplied by Google making them unclickable by me.
