Well, it is looking like next Tuesday or Wednesday that Tackleberry gets out of the body shop. DuelL AG North America is now getting started on their R56 build as of yesterday. Their body shop began teardown while all the body pieces had already been prepped and primered. They are documenting the entire build. They are speculating to have it completed by next Friday. https://www.facebook.com/DuellAgNorthAmerica?fref=ts
You can order them from below for just over a grand. :eek6: Craft Square TCA-F/W Mirror (Touring Competition I don't think I will spend that much to look at anything behind me.
Unless it is getting bigger in the left mirror and about to drop into the turn in front of you. Then it is important you have great brakes. :arf: Don
www.craftsquare.co.jp/tc_corner_import.html - Translator I ordered mine through Bulletproof Automotive 3507 Jack Northrop Ave Suite 202/203 Hawthorne, CA 90250 213.745.6954 Fax: 310.765.4794 Hours: M-F 9:00AM - 5:00PM PST Mine ran me about $750 shipped. It does take 6-8 weeks since they are a special order item from CraftSquare.
Yesterday morning, I went by the body shop to check on a couple things and foung the technician working on the newly painted front bumper. He was prepping it for the installation of the LEDs and driving lights. This was a good sign. Providing everything relatively smooth from here on out, I should be getting Tackleberry back Tuesday or Wednesday. The new hood is still scheduled to ship out of Japan on the 18th or 19th. That means that it get to me around the end of June. That will constitute another trip to the body shop in July.
At $750 I think I'll pass on them. I use door mirrors as a feeler gauge as to how close I'm getting to the scenery!
Here we are, one day from getting out of the body shop. Tomorrow morning, the rear diffuser gets installed. That will complete Stage 1. Stage 2 will be the installation of the cooling bonnet (hood) when it comes in a couple weeks. Once this is done, the graphics will be applied. Lastly, the DuelL AG "Frog" meter panel and DEFI gauges will be installed.
Here you go. This pics are fresh off the press. Bear in mind, it is not completely done. The hood still has to come in and get painted and installed and the graphics have to be applied.
It looks very well done and I like the color, but I just can't get into all the vents on the bumpers. Little too busy for my taste but hey it's you car and as long as you like it that's all that matters.
Looks fantastic. Take some night/dusk shots if you can.. I'd like to see the front lights on :cornut:
