Cool, all we need is a known source for syncro rings and dog rings, and we can do a complete rebuild.

I did some looking around and there is one place that I called and they are going to check some part numbers for me. Because some of the parts that I needed had the same part numbers as the svt focus, and they make syncros for svt. But I have not confirmed that they will work yet.

Ok, so here is the update on the transmission, I also found a crack in the case so I am just doing an 05 transmission swap. So I will be parting the 02 transmission out. I do have all of the shifting forks, syncros are good and and I have an un used obx differentaial that I am selling ( keeping my quaife). I really dont know what to ask for transmission parts, but I will sell the obx for 150.00, let me know

Sorry about discovering the transmission crack, you can't find a local welder to repair the crack?
I do quite a bit of aluminum repair work on engines / transmission for a local dismantler here in Columbus. It's not difficult work.

Were you ever able to locate a source for the syncro's and dog rings?

I called around to different manual transmission shops. And found out threw part numbers that the svt and mini have the same parts. the one shop I was working with helped me find out if the svt parts would fit. Also they have svt parts available, not mini.

You might want to post up the P/N's, I'm sure the M/A members will find this information useful.

    Getrag 6 spd.

Any chance a repair manual is available for my 2006 Cooper S Getrag 6 spd. I have a bad bearing and thats about all. I just want to do the rebuild with more knowledge than what I know on my Old Chevy manual rebuilds from my past.
