I met him just once at MOTD in either 2015 or 2016 can't remember which. From that one meeting he seemed like a great guy.

Man, not sure what to say.. other than the world lost a superb person. Around 2 years ago when I started working on MA he was nothing but helpful and a dream to with. He was passionate about the cars, the forum and more importantly people. He helped anyone he met and was such a genuine person.

I will say this, at MOTD it was clear he was struggling. He pushed through and helped MA. He had challenges walking to his car etc. Dave and the rest of the crew did an amazing job helping and supporting him. Through that support he won best in show at MOTD against some good competition. I know that made him very happy and it's great to see what a community can bring together to help each other.

My heart and prayers go out to the family.

The MINI is a unique car as what a woman calls cute some of us recognize what an exceptional subcompact model the Gen1 really is. Teddy was not only such an individual but also from my interaction with him appeared to be a pretty even-keeled individual.

As I remember TV before color and I have faced adversity in my family with death, I can say without doubt that Teddy's quick passing was a blessing. Surrounded by friends and driving a car he truly appreciated one week then meeting his maker a couple of weeks later with his family present is the way to pass on.

The date has been set for my Teddy’s celebration of life. This will be an informal drop-in event (no service or anything like that- he was adamant against it). Come as you are, come when you can. We are trying to put together a scrapbook for my mom and I so bring pictures and/or a story to share at our scrapbooking station. If you can't attend, but would like to contribute you can email [email protected].

Please feel free to share this to help reach anyone who knew and loved him.

Always a friend in our memories, RIP Teddy! When we met a the Dragon a few years back, you were nice to an old man, may you rest well and drive a few twisties in Heaven.

We know that is where you will spend eternity.

    Don
