2nd Gen R56 Cooper S Temperature dictates?

    Yep......as minimark said, but you have to be really on the edge to see any real benefits for the money spent....IMHO

    Believe me I didn't upgrade until the original came apart at Road Atlanta.....then it was a no brainer to get the GP!!!

    Did get a tick more power from it but the real difference is that the power doesn't fall as quick and as much during a track session or a leisure :) ride through the twisties. In other words the IC doesn't get heat soaked as quick and it does recover quicker once it has. So you will have more power the last laps of a session than you did before and at that point, it makes a big difference in power on hand.

    Worth every penny. ;)

    I've had more issues with my brain fading then losing power. Oh I meant brakes fading.

    If my intercooler dies I'd go GP also. Until that time it is the stock one for this guy.
