^^^ Thats on the high side. Check your coolant and and make sure your radiator isn't too beat-up or covered in "bug juice".![]()

Electronic gauge? Are you getting temp reading from the ECU or is it just a digital display?

Air sounds like a likely culprit Mr. Jim, as the voltage seems stable when I measure it and wiggle the wires.
correction: I have the Cravenspeed hotlink, not the M7 hose coupling.
Oh, wait... the cravenspeed instructions show the hotlink located on the upper rad hose, not the lower one.

Update on the Hotlink install??
Installing on that lower hose would put you on the wrong side of the thermostat housing, that is why it would come to life in traffic when the thermostat opens. At least you know that is working properly. -
Thanks Kellen, that is reassuring. Sounds like I have a job for Saturday. I think I'll pick up a hose wrench to make it easier, getting them off by hand the first time was a pita.
