Yep. I've seen'em running around here in LA and there are two that show up at Cars and Coffee in Las Vegas as well. :frown2: BTW, +10 for the "Overpriced Plug and Plays". Best description I have heard yet.
My commute on the train runs past the rear of the Tesla showroom/dealer in Menlo Park, CA. Most mornings, there are usually a couple of dozen or more parked in back of the building. When I've driven past, I've often seen a yellow R53 with aerokit parked in front. Maybe a Tesla employee's? BTW, I've posted Tesla pics before, at a different location (their main office, not the dealership). See this thread: http://www.motoringalliance.com/forums/off-topic-general/3006-palo-alto-curry-up-now-lunch-truck-tesla-motors-tomorrow.html
We had a mini run last summer in the Santa Monica Mtns and were passed by a Tesla club going the other direction . I thought it seemed like a hell of a lot of cars and later found out there were 75 of the two seat sport models. We usually get 4 to 5 showing up at our Sunday morning GTG's
