Congrats to Way and TSW! -

looks like I guessed right.

Actually, it was more like hot as HELL here in Austin today, way past warm.
And I don't have to pay sales tax anymore. Yeah! -

Great news!! I've said it before, but congrats!!
(I'm kinda glad that my educated guess from what I had been hearing was wrong!!)
I will say you guys kept it very quiet (from my contacts anyway!)!! -

I'm glad TSW is going to live on at WMW for the MINI community. I'm sorry that for such a bunch of hard working guys, making great parts for the MINI, there wasn't enough sales coming from all us MINI owners to keep them going. That's the sad part. Damned economy.:mad2:

Running a small business is a bittch...
really, it's a lot harder than many imagine. Especially with end user sales. I'm talkative and will chat with those that call me for quite a while. It's good customer service, but takes time from other things.
The MINI market is small. No two ways about it. Making anything other than just hobbiest income isn't easy at all. I feel for the TSW guys... It takes a lot of drive to start something like they built. But being honest about the demands of life and keeping a high standard of performance in all facets while not cheating the family of quality time means (many times) that something has to give.
I wish them well with whatever they choose to invest thier time in.

They could not have chosen a better guy than Way to take it over. The dude knows his MINI's inside and out.
Congrats to both parties! -
Condolences on hearing of TSW going out, but it is good to hear Waylen was able to help them consolidate the business. I very much enjoyed working with TSW the past couple years; they were good people and I wish them the best in their future endeavors.
Best of luck to WMW in the future with their new & improved product line-up.
I hope he continues the BDM BBK and TSW-tuned KW coilovers, as they were among the best track-worthy options available.

I feel for many of the folks that are trying to squeeze into this crowded market. You really have to bring something unique at this point. As the market matures, the cream tends to rise, which is good for MINI owners. But even good companies will have trouble if they are late to market. -

So when will we start seeing TSW products on Way's website? Specifically I'm looking for brake rotors and generally I'm also wondering about the custom KW V2 coilovers. Also, will all the existing dealer relationships be maintained, or will I have to wait for my local mechanic to renew his agreement with Way?
I'm not looking for all the proprietary business info, just a general sense of when products formerly known as TSW will be available. -
All of the remaining stock is currently on the road enjoying the journey from Dallas to Atlanta. I'd imagine Way and company will need to sort through it but I think many of the items are already on the WMW site as WMW was a TSW dealer. I'd hazard to guess that that all the dealers save for one will be transferred over.
