    nothing really to discuss until we see the chemistry between these guys

    Tough to beat Clarkson comments such as when they had a breakdown "we decided to spend the next hour bickering while we waited"

    I'll be watching!

    Yeah, I was commenting on the same need for chemistry on the local MINI site. I'll give it a shot and see if it's going to fly, but I fear that the network is going to give up before it can really take hold.

    I think what makes TG is the banter and chemistry. There's so many car reviews out there already that if that's all I want I can find it else where. Last night I was watching Season 5, episode 2 (?) where Clarkson was having to eat his hair. How can you beat that?!

    you mean you dont watch it for the overexposed cinimatography and the overly edited glorified slow motion four wheel drifts round the airport circuit in typically rain soaked English countryside???
    I mean...the bantering and bickering along with the silly wagers and antics those guys get up to are good too...I like the one where they had to buy motorbikes in Thiland or somewhere like that...then had to put silly things on the back of them and follow route directions through the city...BRILLIANT! :D:lol:

    The ending of the episode was the best part. Watching May paddle up to that floating restaurant, looking like he just got spat out by a seagull was priceless.

    I am gonna give it three episodes before I give my final opinion. That being said, I think that Foust is gonna be an attention whore, Rutt is gonna be an annoying redneck, and the third bloke....well I dont know much about him so I cant form an early opinion.

    I'll give it a shot, and probably more than just a single episode. After all, the original TG has changed a LOT since even season one.
