    I like what I see from the side and rear. Reserving judgement on the front view for now.

    I do not have a big enough front plate to fill this! I wonder if we can get an option on another front grill. :(

    Without the odd grill /bumper it looks like the old dodge neon all it needs to say is "Hi"

    Now when people add silly eyelashes to that MINI the 3/4 angel eye lights will look like glowing hooker eyeshadow.

    Also what is up with the turbo snail fog light housings?

    I can see them all sitting around a table in a conference room. Lets make everything rounded and then add a few hard 90 degree angles on the front for no reason at all.
    Yes, that's a great idea, it will break it up so everything does not flow together. :confused5::lol:

    If ya stop and think a minute, it is only natural for companies to change their design over the years. The original Mini did not and it is gone. If they only made the R50 and R53, the MINI would be gone or close to it, as well.

    Good point. That said, I'd still take the carbon fiber crescent over the chrome ring. Just too much contrast going on. :arf:

    I go away for two days and all this happens? I've been up 3 days with about 9 hours cumulative sleep. So I'll reserve judgment till I see it in person.

    Oh never mind. I cant help it. Its UUUUUGLY. I hope it looks better in person. Because if I tell someone I have a Mini I don't want them to thank thats what I drive. I thought I only had to worry about the R56 now that thing!
    Oops I didn't mean that.:biggrin5::biggrin5::biggrin5:

    Jimbo old buddy. I know that you and Dave will keep your R53's running for ever, but a long drive will amount to the end of the driveway and back. :lol:

    :cornut: But DaveO. BMW must be doing something right or their sales numbers wouldn't continue to increase. Just saying................... I remember in years gone by that Ford Mustang went from nice to square box ugly and back to nice again. Perhaps MINI in a year or two will come out with another 'killer' MINI.:Thumbsup:

    Just noticed the raised "power bulge" behind the scoop...
