    Classic Mini Cooper vehicles will invade Wytheville Oct.9-12. The event will be hosted by the Classic Minis United Florida chapter and include members from around the world. Classic Mini Coopers vehicles include model years from 1959 to 2000.

    Around 50 vehicles will be seen driving around Wytheville Oct. 9-12: watch for them at local restaurants and scenic areas. Most will be staying at Wytheville’s KOA Campground and many activities are planned for this Mini adventure!

    An ice cream run to the Big Walker Country Store, Big Walker Mountain, will take place around 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10. Drivers will then meet back in Wytheville at 8:45 p.m. for a Scavenger Hunt and will looking for clues all around town. Several sites will be visited, including the Thomas J. Boyd Museum at 295 Tazewell Street.

    Friday, Oct. 11 will feature a drive through Whitetop and Damascus, followed by an all-day drive out of town on Saturday, Oct. 12.
