Lucky dog, I'd love to be going to that event. Our former trainer/rider is entered. I would love to think I could get around the XC course, even if it was dead last.

of course it was too close to the edge for them to patch. had to take it home and plug it myself....hope it holds:fingerscrossed:

 

Umm, Snooter? There's a reason they won't patch those... better bring a spare! At least you found out BEFORE you were on the road... On the way to MOTD in 2010 I hit debris on the road (truck shot a huge metal stamping into my lane - in traffic) and lost both driver's side tires AND the trailer tire to blowouts.

they use a big round patch, about 2" diameter, that will ride up the curve to much. they said the plug won't be as close to the curve at the patch would and should hold. Since I don't own a spare and would have to choose between fitting a spare in the car or my wife, guess I'm gonna have to wing it

Just rolled into Hickory NC from Jersey! I had put 5mm spacers on the rear to go with the fronts I put last years but as we started the trip it started scraping the wheel arches on the heavy dips! Needless to say after cracker barrel breakfast in PA I pulled them off! Anyone need a set, 30.00 bucks, lol

 

Now you have outdone yourself Jim. A last minute mod while in route no less. That has to be a record. :lol:
