Problem solved! It took more than flushing the cache, dumping the history and restarting. After consulting Apple, the only solution was to back up everything to iCloud and reset the iPad to its original factory settings. After restarting, you have the option of setting up the iPad like it was brand new or restoring everything from the backup, which is what I did. It works normally now, and I didn't lose anything - although I did have to fix some settings. The whole process took about an hour. YMMV, but remember you need to turn off your mobile devices once in awhile to clear their memories. Otherwise, you'll have so much stuff stored that your devices will lose their ability to think clearly and function normally - sort of like some of the folks here. :biggrin5:.
Interesting... This whole thing has led me to start looking at other mobile solutions other than Tapatalk. I think we are going to see something new supporting Mobile M/A soon.
A counterpoint: The three or four other Forums I haunt all are on Tapatalk. Sure is convenient having one stop shopping as it were.
I never use Tapatalk. I always hit the original site here and at other sites. Mobile software filters out too much of the good stuff.
It's not crapatalks problem. It's the wireless connection with the browser on any device. (Common issue) It's has to do with how web pages are cleared and refreshed in the browser on the device it's running on. I have this issue all the time on my wifi iPad but have never had this issue on my PC with a Verizon FiOS 150/150 fiber connection. My Workstation /Server has gobs of Ram and 2 TB of space. Wired bigger machines can handle these issue without any issues because they can easily clears it's cache and memory when you navigate to another page. iPads and Any Phone made is no match for larger more powerful wired machines, at least not yet. You need to wait a few more years for the wireless networks to catch up with all the data the world it putting up on the Internet.
Get a better wireless router Dave... Networking - RT-AC66U - ASUS Tapatalk has issues that are more on my end as a forum owner. It's not going to go away, just not going to toss up the automatic there is an app for the site notice. Looking at a product that identifies the screen size and creates a mobile friendly version of the site. Only ID's phone sized devices, not tablets.
Thanks for link Nate, only $150.00 on Amazon. I may order one tomorrow and test it out. I will let you know how it works out. Ugh damn you Nate look what I found now: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MPI5N7U/ref=psdc_300189_t3_B008ABOJKS
The RT-AC87U is more than I need for this smaller place. 5GHz will get me off the same spectrum as all my neighbors. Umm, yeah, what was the topic again?
