Ummmm....thought they said they were going to run that into the exhaust to increase tailpipe velocity?

Little of both actually. The High Frequency will go to the diffuser, to accelerate the air under the backside. While the Low Frequency will be directed into the exhaust, creating a deeper throatier exhaust note.

What ratio are you using to determine the pulse width and how do you account for the ever changing variations?

Sounds like you could use a high fiber intake to promote pulse regularity. You always gotta look at the whole system, front and back.

I've seen on YouTube people getting a large, bright flash of flame from their exhaust with this set-up during over-RUNS.....:mad5:

While technically this is correct, I must point out that the boost one gets from a combination of Heineken's and Barbacued Baked beans with bacon outweighs any potential benefits of regularity from fiber alone.

Possibly installing some sort of a by pass valve would help control any sudden and dramatic loss of boost and its abrupt return and the resultant problems it creates.. Still concerned with the pulse width variations though....:(

This one is reaching new levels of slightly off track. I just had to look at the top of the page to see which thread this really is or was.

    Very nice splitter.:D

From the pic, I don't know, it kind of looks like the driver side turn buckle mount is coming loose from the grill, or is it just the angle of the shot? Check it out, so you don't loose those expensive bits.

Thanks Metalman, the turn buckle mount and the splitter are all strong and solid!
