That is not a problem. Find someone with an R56 (S) spoiler for sale and put it on your justa. It is simple to do and it fits. Jim
Are you saying your Cooper is just a plain squared-off back and then the rear hatch begins [I have NEVER seen one, is why I am asking]? My Cooper has a slight spoiler and the JSart wing looks nice on it, and it does a great job keeping the crud off the back window.
how strong is the splitter? run in with a large thing of carpet that flew off a pickup on the interstate going 75mph had to dismantle and reassemble the bumper and bent the splitter back in place...well as best as i can
Granted that my MC is an '03, but, that pseudo-spoiler is roughly the same in appearance as the one on my car, even though this is an R56. That said, Joel applied an extension onto my pseudo-spoiler. It looks great and does what it is intended to do.
Mine is a 2009 MC and I don't think the hatch has change, so a wing from an R56 MCS should work fine. It did on mine. Jim
Then, there IS one for the MC that will fit. The one for the MCS is bigger. The MC spoiler extension adds just enough to the stock spoiler to make the car look sportier, but it also really DOES keep the crud off the rear window! I am more than satisfied with both my spoiler extensions...one for the MC and one for the MCS.
What is an "aero duckbill spoiler" look like ? The spoiler extension fits almost every spoiler I can think of. Can you post a picture of your spoiler ? Mark
The r50/53 had a spoiler associated with the aero kit. It was basically like the MCS stock spoiler but without the "hole".
