    ?

Have you come up with a diffuser that will work on a stock type(S) exhaust.
I must say your exhaust that I've seen is rather may I say "awkward" Sorry needs work

I do like the other products.

Mark, so the diffuser(that functions) will not work with my MCS stock exhaust?:confused5: "So My Muffler hangs down to low????" I mean its a JCW tune kit exhaust on my MCS, I don't know if that matters?

I'm confused? here is a pic of the back end..will your diffuser work on an 09 R56 MCS and function?

I would hazard a guess that most dual muffler exhausts will have the same problem.

i think your confusion comes from the difference between r53 and r56 stock exhausts, r53 is dual mufflers on either sides right where the diffuser goes

Well said. The confusion is the dif. between the R53 & R56 exhaust layout and battery location.
If the Milltek is higher then the bottom of the battery box there might be a way to have the diffuser clear it and be on a straight line with the floor pan. The mounting might need to be altered, no big thing

Ladyvalea, have no fear. We will not sell our aero aids or exhausts that will not fit.

They are just about even with the bottom of the battery box.

    Larry,

I spoke Mark last night and I am "in" for the 1st run of diffusers.

Mark: Shoot me an e-mail for Deposit / Payment.

I am going to test the diffuser on my ride when it is a available. You know my 05 R53, I have the Milltek exhaust with the small higher up mufflers!
I may have to do a little "Dave tweaking†to get everything mounted perfectly and most importantly secure. I also want to make sure it is installed without jacking up the functionality or aesthetics of the G4 product.

You know I always motor at school zone speed.:devil::eek:ut::rolleyes5:

Great news! With regard to the splitter, Graham ended up anchoring it with aluminum strips, to prevent it from flexing at high speeds--I'm going to be in the same boat--does the splitter come with these reenforcement strips, or if not, can these be bought seperately?

Dunno. I'll leave that to Mark and the G4 crew to give a definitive yea/nay. Since you have a 2nd Gen, Ladayvalea, you are probably safe. The 1st Gen cars, where the mufflers are at the corners, are going to be the bigger issue, since most of them hang low enough to interfere with the diffuser design, I believe.

bit out of the blue, but i have an r50 with an offset rear exhaust, what are your thoughts on having the just the front splitter in terms of affecting the balance of the car?

i will eventually being modifying my existing exhaust's exit point but that is fairly far down on the list, and with my paltry hp i don't much fancy a big wing adding drag as well as downforce so would prefer the diffuser over the wing for rear grip

basically how heavily do they depend on each other to balance the car? also do you end up with enough downforce to require stiffer springs?

I'm going to be honest with you, adding the splitter is going to make the rear end easier to let go, even more so then it is now. If you don't want a wing you could add a spoiler with our extender on it and the balance would even out. The right wing would be adjustable for the street and different tracks. You can adjust it for the street with very little drag and still achieve down force for stability. We are testing different versions right now.
I'm not trying to talk you out of buying our splitter because it is adjustable and easily removed.
No you will not need stiffer springs unless you end up going over 100 mph through the corners.
Call me if you want to.
