All that would be beyond this old AF puke, we did our drills with the Colt 45 and the M16, so I would have to have a manual and lots and lots of time, say 2 years.

LCP is a nice little pistol. I was torn between that and a Taurus TCP and ended up going with the latter w/CT laser. Price point and availability was the deciding factor. Not long after that I picked up my Sig P238 and gave the TCP to my sister. Since my Girlfriend started carrying the Sig I alternate between a Ruger LCR .357 and Kimber Custom.

Looks like some good hunting this year, since I do not hunt, but I do shoot, thought to share this one that came across my FB feed today.
Thought you might like it, hopes it resolves, yes I do shoot my Beretta at the range too.
Group Therapy: Enjoy.-

Good article, and oh so true. Thanks for posting it. I prefer the smell of Hoppes #9 myself though.

I saw 9mm jacketed ball at Gander mt for $13 for 50 rounds. But still not a box of .380 any where. They also had .223 at great prices.
It might be time to build my AR.-

They will probably keep the prices high, knowing now that we will pay it...
I used to get 500 round cans of military issue Federal 5.56 for $120, current price is $200-$250, thanks to the anti gun lobbyists.
I bought a 22LR rifle (MP5 clone) a couple years ago so I could have something cheap to shoot with... Its only gone to my range once because if I can find 22 shooting either the 45's or SKS, even the AR's are about the same price.-

That sounds like a great idea. I just spent a couple days out at Woodbury in pursuit of deer. No luck, but it looks like they have a nice range up to 200 yards.-

My minimum (unless shooting a pistol or scattergun) is 500 yards with a solid backdrop... Anything less than that just isnt as much fun.

In my area as long as I'm shooting in a safe manor they can complain but the sheriff can't really do anything about it. I have a hill/bank and then had a dump truck load of dirt brought in for more backing to shoot into.. Mainly just for pistols as 100 ft is about as far back as you can get, but do a 22 rifle as well..

Interesting, small acreage is some parts is OK, 500 yards/1500 feet. Guess I will look for a piece with a hill or two!
Might have to go into Wyoming to get the right place at the right price.

Lots of acreage up around Wheatland/Chuggwater... It used to be cheap too.

A day or so late, Happy New Year to my gun toting M/A friends.
Was browsing around the internet, has anyone seen (in a gun shop), the new Ruger 22LR Pistol (Charger) for plinking, both standard and take-down, based on the 10-22 rifle components.
Looks like a nice plinker.

In another life time I was quite heavy into guns. I was a young LEO in the suburbs of Detroit. After seven years of that I made a big change in my life and switched careers. The last time I fired a hand gun was 1964.
With all the happenings in our world I've increasingly had a desire to have a gun to keep close by. The day before yesterday I picked up a Ruger LCP .380. Yesterday I went to a nearby range to give it and me a test. Wow, what a hoot. The little gun started up functioning beautifully but as I got near the end of a box of 50 it started to occasionally jam on ejection (stove pipe?). Before shooting the gun the only thing I did was run a patch thru the barrel. I didn't break it down and do any lubricating so I'm hoping that might be part of the reason for jamming up.
One of the beauties of living in Arizona is I can strap it to my leg or throw it in my pocket and it's all legal with no need for a ccw permit.-
