Ruger on the front line against terror
I thought I recognized some of the wood stocked rifles the Paris Police were carrying. But I said, "Nah, couldn't be",:nonod: until I read this. Pretty cool. Not the circumstances, but the rifle.

I think the most fun I had with a gun recently was getting to shoot a full auto H&K MP5K

Nice group, was that at 15, 21 or? Still one big ragged hole. Did you shoot that at the gun shop, then present to the expert behind the counter. /snark
Anyway, I shoot nine and 380, 40 is snappy for my small weak hands. Of course, so is 357 magnum which I also shoot, that is why I use 38 special at the range.
Anyway, nice group. The H&K looks like a great shooter.
I like what you did with the Glock 43 Vetsvette, what sights did you install again? Grip looks extra good, I imagine it makes the 43 much easier hold and shoot.

I really need to get to the range, next week I keep saying. -

I wonder how many of those purchasers were first time buyers...without any training in how to use it?

Interesting read B.A.D, makes sense in many ways, not sure it would fly, but nothing seems to be flying anyway.

Has anyone seen the new Ruger GP100 10shot 22LR wheel gun in a retail store near you.
Ruger sends my Christmas updates to one of my alternate emails, I may be looking soon.

Another 100 and it will be all broke in and ready, assuming it is a carry unit, what is the plan for her!

Interesting so giving as a gift doesn't mean the same thing as buying for someone else. Good to know.

So, I have to ask.... For the Tennessee folks who are shooters!
Can an out of state person buy a handgun, rifle, etc. in the State of Tennessee or is it purchase then have it sent to an FFL in the State you reside?
Curious as I really want to go to Buds up in Sevierville, TN, it appears to be a top of the line store and range.
Thanks... Don -

Back in '04 I know around Ft. Campbell you had to have either a TN or KY drivers license. -
