Sweet looking pistol. If I hadn't just bought two Glocks I would definitely be interested. I'm looking forward to hearing your impressions also.

With the Obama Gun thing being talked about currently I'd like to ask those that live in states that don't require a pistol permit to buy a hand gun like NC does. When you go to buy a hand gun what do they ask you and or what paper work do you have to fill out. I assume you get the gun right then as you pay for it. No waiting etc??

Same here. Fill out the ATF 4473 and as soon as the NICS comes back pay for it and walk out the door with your new handgun(s). Usually, by the time I finish browsing the ammo shelves it's ready to go. It may take a little longer if the NICS is backed up.

Thanks ya'll. So that is checking to make sure your are not a convicted felon, and or certified crazy I guess and to make sure your name, license, and SS number all match etc... Here in NC we have the "cooling off period" of either 3 days or 5 days before we get our permit. Atleast that is how it went the last time I bought a permit 15 years ago or so. Much easier since then with my CCW permit. Though I do have 2 co-workers who recently filled out their form online for a handgun permit and it says they won't get theirs for 14 business days..

The only good thing about having to have a permit here in NC is they are good for 5 years so alot of people buy a few at a time. Granted might take a week or so to get them but then once you run across a gun you want there is no waiting then. Your background check was already done to get the permit. Just cash and go. There currently is a made rush to get ccw permits with classes popping up everywhere as they all fill up. Once you get that then you don.t have to worry with permits or background checks anymore.

Yeah, we fill out a form but no waiting afterwards for anything to be checked..

When we turned in our CCW paperwork last month the Sheriff said that applications had doubled since the California shooting.
The president is trying to use the California shooting like a school shooting to put in new regulations. But that incident has had the opposite effect and more gun have been sold and more CCWs applied for. -

As far as he's concerned it was a case of "gun violence" and not terrorism. Looks better in the memoirs.

They have to do it in 6 weeks. It was just a little over 2 for ours. I understand if you down to the Franklin County Sheriff it's faster. We went over to London to Madison county. It's more convenient from Hilliard.

Today I was up in Loveland at my favorite Sportsman's warehouse store, looking for the next purchase. Sadly no and no on the Ruger GP100 22LR 10 shot or a Ruger LCRX 22 mg. Just like the size of the little LCR for walking around the farm in MO.
Perhaps I will get lucky on the internet search. -
the M11 is nice... a better gun than the M9... but in typical Sig fashion...way to expensive for what it is
-
It is expensive, but it was on clearance at Cabelas for 750. Thought that was a little more reasonable. Would never have paid the 1k most places have on it. -
