After driving all the way out to NC and Dragon, I did not get any opportunity to shoot. Was at the farm, but time did not allow to shoot some cans with the Browning, so I was having some no range withdrawal.

Took care of that today, spend about and hour shooting the Colt 380 Mustang Lite and the two 22s, am I glad the 380 is a closeup and personal defensive automatic, at 25 feet I was all over the paper, but at 5 to 15, not to bad.

Two pictures of the table and the final target, shot at 45-50 feet with the Browning. A good stress releasing day!

They did not have a drive to the sporting clay range this year. In the past there has been a drive to a range and we had a modified for new shooters version of 5 stand.

Bought some targets today in prep. for a range visit, also bought some 38 spc. ammo PMC and some Hornady 380 to keep the springs in the mags happy.

Btw, anyone tried the plastic bullets? Not sure of that technology. ;)

Will let folks know if the PMC is good or bad, time for the Ruger to get some to get some action.

    :) Don

I like the PMC in all the calibers I shoot. 9mm, 380 and 38. Hope they work for you.

I just acquired a Browning 1022 pistol in 6mm. It is called the 'assassin's gun. Why? Because this model was used to shoot ArchDuke Ferdinand (?) which started WW1. I wish posting pic's was easier for me :).

I'm not sure what's up with the picture posting issue. I haven't been able to post any pictures in here for weeks now. I gave up.

On another note, I just got word that my new Mossberg 500 20 Gauge Tactical (Bantam) will be at my FFL next Wednesday. Can't wait!

More like ready for the Zombie Apocalypse. Should take you about 2 days to clear that 1000 rounds at the range.

Do you reload or intend to reload, something to consider if you are into volume range time. :)

Yeah, great price and I haven't had a problem with a single round yet. And Mark, the guy that owns Top Shot is a really cool dude, doesn't drive a Mini though, lol.

Right now I don't have any plans to reload, but in the future I might consider it. Can't quite get over the start up cost.

Though primarily the ammo is for the wife and I to take the Advanced CCW class that Vance offers in July. I was just stocking up so I had plenty. I think my round count is around 1500 now, give or take.

Not a gun, but gun related. After all it's an ammo can. It's something I ordered the other day and I love it. Make sure you check out the two videos on the link.

I made a set of speaker boxes to put some 6.5" in the back of one of my army buddies Jeeps one time! Glad to see the idea is still being used! [emoji23]

I hadn't shot for a few weeks, until the other day. I let loose of forty or fifty rounds through my 1911-22 and 15 or so through my LCR. I'm better now.

I'd post the photos of my targets, however the ability to post photos here has vanished.

Happy 4th everyone!! I like be his day!

I went to the range. The day started good but ended not so good. I shot my H&K USP compact. This one has the factory trigger it's about 200lb well by the end of the day it felt that was. This is one of my last targets. The first ones were better as you can see I started to drop some. This was at 25 yards, not my best

200 or 20 or 2lbs, not bad at 25 yards, I shoot at 30 feet or 45 feet and my groups do not look very good. My CZ is a better shooter than I am.

I will post a picture later.

Yea the H&K shoots way better than me. I have another just like it but with a lighter trigger. I took my daughter shooting. She had been using the one with a light trigger, we were about done and I let her try the one that has the stock trigger. She could not pull it hard enough to make it fire.
