Now that I'm back home, I plan to shoot on Saturday.

Got to shoot one of these yesterday at the range. Colt King Cobra .357 Try finding one of those on Armslist. Co-worker bought it years ago for about $400 and now worth 4 times that or so.. Great shooting gun and pretty easy to be accurate with it being so long..

Pretty quiet, so here is a shot of my range time after being off the guns for two months.
Started out pretty poor, then got to this in the end.
This was the final with the CZ SP-01 9mm.
I exercised the Beretta Storm Compact and the Mustang 380, the 380 is only for close work, spread is wide at 10 yards. Or my hold is wrong.
A point about the targets down the range picture, look closely at the target on the left. I was shooting with a LEO for an hour during this visit, he was shooting a CZ P-07 Personal backup unit. His shots were good, fairly tight groups to the head, center mass chest and the heart. If you mess with one of the Colorado LEOs know where you are going to get hit. His target and mine were side by side at 21-30 feet 7 to 10 yards. He is a 40 year LEO, with prior military, good guy, don't piss him off.

My Colt is a .45 Long Colt single action revolver, and it is a limited edition. It has never been fired. I have ammo for it, but have not shot it.
That brings up a question. If I shoot it, how will it affect the value? It is currently worth a lot of money.
I'd love to take it to the range and shoot it, but I can't say I'm enthusiastic about cutting it's value in half with one pull of the trigger.

My High Standard is worth a bunch also but I enjoy shooting it so much I never hesitate to take it to the range. I learned to shoot with it when I was 6 and have been shooting ever since.

I viewed a Cyber Monday ad on the net from Sportsman's Warehouse and went to the local store to drop my cash in person. I picked up a DPMS Oracle AR15 for 499 and can't wait to get it out to the range.
Many thanks to Everyone out there who think us law abiding folks shouldn't have our choice of firearms (particularly here in the Golden State). They're all the more popular, and in our hands, because of it. -
Actually, stocks like S&W, Ruger, etc. took a big dive immediately after the election,
and have stayed down since.
Just the thought of a democratic president was very good to the gun industry. -

I can share that over 10,000 DROS documents were processed on Black Friday in California alone.
Nationwide, the FBI reported a total of 185,713 NICS background checks were put into process. Maybe sales were off a bit that day... -
